The Editor, Sir/Madam;
Donald Trump is not fixing America’s problems—he is destroying the institutions and programs designed to address them. He claims to be solving issues, yet he offers no real solutions—only dismantling what is already in place.
Trump excels at tearing things down but has no viable strategy for building something better. Instead of simply firing people, why not help them transition into private sector jobs? If USAID or other programs are ineffective, shouldn’t we first identify better alternatives before eliminating them?
His leadership is driven by vengeance and resentment, a dangerous formula for national decline. Hatred does not lead to progress—it leads to chaos. If we approached challenges with wisdom and compassion, we might find real solutions. Trump’s path offers only destruction, not the change Americans truly need.
Despite being taken advantage of at times, the United States remains the wealthiest and most influential nation in the world. Others still look to us for leadership. I pray that Americans open their eyes before it’s too late.
In closing, On the matter of Cutting costs: If they want to make tough decisions to cut the deficit of 36 trillion. Then instead of going after poor and middle class. Maybe they can ask the billionaires and the top 3% to help. There is no way they can achieve this goal without getting more from those people.
